What we collect

BookLens can be used without an account. If you create an account, we store your email address and the books you save or rate. We also collect standard, anonymized usage analytics (pages visited, device type) to understand how the site is used.

How we use it

Your data is used to operate the site: showing your saved books, processing ratings you submit, and improving our catalog and content estimates. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in and privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to measure traffic. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Affiliate links

Book pages include affiliate links (for example, to Amazon). If you buy through one, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences a book's content rating.

Third-party services

We use Supabase to store data and Vercel to host the site. Both process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@askbooklens.com.
